Lightstone invited Yvonne Quirmbach — designer and gallery owner — to create visual statements shining a light in challenging, unprecedented times.
From wars to shifting climate, it is difficult maintaining an optimistic outlook regarding the world’s future. Yet, in these very moments it is paramount reflecting on what is most essential:
The way forward cannot be achieved by neglecting political action. For we are responsible shaping the society we desire.
The way forward cannot be achieved by merely appearing for instances of opposition. For true change moves beyond marginal improvements and past promises.
The way forward cannot be achieved by allowing polarizing forces to drive us further apart. For a future of peaceful human, environmental coexistence can only be fostered through a sense of reciprocity.
Respecting oneself as well as the idea of the ‘other’ – striving to meet, in cooperation and in harmony.
100% of all proceeds will be donated to Petners Berlin — a nonprofit organization distributing food and supplies to homeless animals across Ukraine.
