We are beyond excited to launch our new t-shirt edition — DON’T LOOK BACK by artist Robert Elfgen.
Robert is acclaimed for a mytho-poetic artistic universe that revolves around the relationship between human beings and the world. His work extends our limits of perception in a unique, natural, archetypical, and refined manner. His view is genuine, full of strong and simultaneously sensitive suggestions.
In August this year, we visited Robert and his partner Brunhilde Bordeaux-Groult in Britanny, Northern France where they are both currently living and working.
Surrounded by nothing but nature, we joined him in his studio — printing 100 t-shirts, each by hand, one by one.
Witnessing Robert’s sensitivity for detail and craftsmanship, every shirt was wood printed by hand with utmost care.
There is no shirt like the other. Every t-shirt is a unique, wearable artwork.
Of course, they are similar — but all have different shapes, color densities, and characters. The edition is strictly limited to 2 x 50 pieces.
100 percent of all proceeds realized are donated ‘Petners Berlin’ — an NGO delivering food and medicine to shelters in Ukrainian war zones as well as finding new homes for orphaned pets across Europe.
